“Bandish Projekt is a music act featuring a blend of Indian elements in an electronica format.

Formed in 1998 in Ahmedabad by Mayur Narvekar, Udyan Sagar and Mehirr Nath Choppra, Bandish Projekt is a music act featuring a blend of Indian elements in an electronica format. The name is derived from Bandish, an Indian classical composition, and “Projekt”, which reflects the experimental and evolving nature of the music. Currently, Bandish Projekt comprises Mayur Narvekar who regularly collaborates with producers and musicians on his albums. After years of growing success as a live performer, composer and producer, Mayur moved to Mumbai in 2008. October 2009 saw the release of Bandish Projekt’s first album, ‘Correkt’. In December 2011, Bandish Projekt released ‘Lover’ featuring Shaa’ir (Monica Dogra). Bandish Projekt has three upcoming releases for 2012, including a remix of ‘Correkt’.”
