Coming Soon: May 2013

The Fieldhouse Artist of the Month for May is Brigitte Zarie !

We are excited to celebrate with Brigitte Zarie this month for the release of her highly anticipated album L’Amour. The album will feature eight originals and one classic cover. L’Amour is on schedule to release later this month. (Date TBA)

This jazz artist has won over the hearts of so many listeners with her stunning voice and original songs that resemble the classics of the 50s and 60s. Brigitte’s first album Make Room For Me was released in 2009 and is still very popular today. In fact, the title track “Make Room For Me” has dominated the charts on the POPJAZZRADIO.com at #1 for 46 weeks in a row with over 33,000 votes, a new record for the website! She even beat out Michael Bublé in the #2 slot- pretty impressive!

Brigitte is currently working closely with world-class bassist and producer, Neil Jason, who has supported, arranged, and co-written on her two albums. In the studio, Neil Jason conducts a room full of New York’s finest musicians in order to capture a truly organic sound. Check out the Brigitte Zarie studio live film of the Brigitte Zarie Big Band recording session at Avatar Studio in New York City, for her new song “Nobody Else” off L’Amour.

Brigitte was recently in Paris, France for some recording sessions and the filming of a new video for the upcoming album. There is so much to look forward to, but for now take a listen to this short sample of the title track off L’Amour, and be sure to check back for the release!
